What's in the Flooring and Bedding range?

The Flooring and Bedding Range comprises of bedding mortars, floor coatings, epoxy screed and repair, a stone carpet system, epoxy damp proof membrane and instant safety flooring solutions.

The Bedding Mortars category is made up of Ronafix site batched and polymer modified pre-packed bedding mortars. The Ronafix site batched bedding mortar is covered by BBA Certificate No. 89/2149 and RonaBond Bedding Mortar is covered by BBA Certificate No. 90/2421.

The Floor Coatings category is made up of solvent free, high build, chemical resistant, epoxy coatings, water based epoxy coatings and polyurethane floor sealers. All of the coatings can be used for commercial and industrial projects and can also incorporate an anti-slip aggregate to provide high slip resistance.

RonaFloor Stone Carpet is a resin bound aggregate surface for pedestrians and for occasional use by light vehicles. It is used to create decorative and durable surfaces which are seamless and slightly flexible.

The Epoxy Screed and Repair category is made up of high performance epoxy flooring systems (including a rapid set grade) and a self smoothing, seamless epoxy screed for thin section application.

RonaFloor Epoxy DPM is a two pack, solvent free, liquid applied damp proof membrane. It can be applied on to concrete or screed with a relative humidity at the surface as high as 97%, allowing for early covering of moisture sensitive floor finishes.

The Safety Flooring category is made up of easy to use, instant safety flooring solutions. Stair treads, nosings and safety sheets are installed using a 'glue and screw' method whilst the ladder rung covers are simply glued on. Once in place, they can be trafficked immediately.

Royal London Hospital 360x450

An ambulance is despatched to the scene. The patient is too ill to move by road, and road isn’t fast enough anyway. London’s Air Ambulance takes on the responsibility of airlifting the patient to The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, East London. The helicopter lands on the roof of the building, a steel structure designed to accommodate the helicopter, its support and safety equipment, and of course the medical staff whose primary concern is the wellbeing of the patient.

As they run across the steel deck, often wet from rain and sometimes snow, it is essential they don’t slip. The metal deck is therefore coated with an anti-slip coating with different colours used to mark safe and hazardous areas.
